STONES FOR CHAKRAS

They are all healing stones. Lots of love is needed in the world so they are for love.
According to the Jewelers of America, the practice of relating certain gemstones to birth signs/months goes back at least as far as 1400 BC, and the correspondences vary from culture to culture. The list which is considered "traditional" today has its origins in the "Breastplate of Aaron" from the bible. The 12 stones on the breastplate were thought to correspond (in addition to the 12 tribes of Israel) to the signs of the zodiac, later standardized as the 12 months. The color was thought to unleash the power of the stone, so use the color correspondences when choosing alternate stones. (Different systems vary widely in regards to birthstone correspondences, this is merely one version.)

My method of listing stones to work with the chakras is primarily based on color association. In all cases, stones should be chosen by personal magnetism to the stone on whatever level you get it. Sometimes the stone to work with for an issue with a certain chakra may correspond to another chakra and its energy is needed to bring the two parts of the system back into balance together.
